Love the concept! The composition is very strong. Utilizing an open frame composition with the city component on the right trailing off the canvas is very powerful and the main subject to the other side offsets and creates balance in the piece. Again, love it.
Looks amazing so far. I can really get a sense of the distance between the objects. Only thing I would say is that it took me a few to realize that there was a cloud layer below. Maybe some value in the sky or on the clouds would bring them out.
I really like this. It has a good overall comp and the theme is easy to see and recognize. I like where this is heading and would like to see a finished work.

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the cloud city in Star Wars. I would love to see more lighting, but otherwise looking forward to seeing a finished piece.
