I love your choice of lighting and the placement of the tree. It's a powerful composition and the architecture is well defined and complimentary throughout the piece. Good job.
I'm not seeing a tree myself. I thought it was a mushroom cloud from an explosion. If it is an explosion I would like to see more dramatic lighting on it--harsher shading and highlighting--differentiating from all of the shades. The building and the Characters are great, and I also love the texturing you gave in the sky.
The buildings and people are really good. The use of value is really good too. The only part I'm having a problem with is the area that is either a tree or a mushroom cloud. A bit more definition would bring some clarity.
